May 9, 2021 and after almost 15 years of doing Judo on and off, Charlie Cunningham gets promoted to Shodan (1st Dan Judo Black Belt) certificate from the United States Judo Federation. Charlie was one of my first students when we opened the doors and it’s awesome that he’s stuck it out throughout the years regardless of the obstacles of life. Charlie is a devoted Husband and father of 3 athletes and a Police Detective in New Jersey. We are now 7 NJJ Black Belts Strong right now.
